A combination of health problems which had made my body change and left me feeling ridiculously tired and under the weather the whole time, plus some emotional-recovery issues, had led me to open the floodgates to my deep-rooted association of food = comfort. Over a couple of years I had gone from a fairly fit, physical, size 10, to a sedentary size 16, and well into bad habits of self-soothing by bingeing on easy-to grab, salty, fatty snacks, the main culprit being crisps, family pack sized, easily two packs in one sitting. I would say the habit had become akin to developing any other kind of addiction. My problem was not my main meals. I loved cooking fresh healthy food, and cooked everything from scratch, my meal sizes were normal, and I was well up on nutrition. It wasn’t a case of being uneducated – I was fully educated in all that stuff. It was simply a case of needing to stop adding those pointless extra calories to my necessary nutritional intake. But knowing what you need to do and doing it are two very different things, when the root of the problem is psychological. So I thought I would give hypnotherapy a try…

By the end of the second session, just a few weeks following initial consultation with Kelly, where she probed quite deeply into where my mind-set stemmed from, and it’s like the switch has flicked. I’ve now lost 11lbs over a matter of months. I have literally no desire to reach for those snacks which are not doing my body any good at all, as a form of comfort.

I’m definitely going back to Kelly for at least another couple of sessions, because I feel I want to really complete this mission fully and take it as far as I can. I’m actually still really surprised it has worked so easily, and am keen to find out where else I can take this.

Kelly is true professional, listens to everything you say, and works out a tailored session specifically for you. She makes you feel absolutely relaxed, is discreet, down-to-earth and absolutely puts you at ease.
